The concept of self-development

Self-development is the best thing you can do to live a happy life and be the best at what you want. In order to develop yourself, you must first identify your skills and interests. You cannot develop your skills to please other people or the society around you. In doing so, you are like a penguin trying to fly, but he will not be able to do so no matter how hard he tries, because his abilities do not qualify him to do so.

After identifying your abilities, you can imagine the ideal world you want to live in, the personality you want to display, and the abilities you want to possess, while accepting yourself as you are.

You cannot raise yourself and develop your abilities while hating yourself. This can be likened to a teacher who hates a student, but he tries hard to make him the best person on the face of the earth, but he will not be able to do so no matter how hard he tries, because his own self will prevent him from doing so." In my opinion, self-development is the continuous work to develop our skills and thinking, and acquire habits that enrich our lives and thus lead us to success and goal achievement.

A person begins self-development by creating a development plan that contains development goals with smart words linked to specific dates and effective and purposeful activities.

The pillars of self-development are sound thinking, commitment, a development action plan, development tools, and a circle of motivating people around me. I also invest my time in self-development by allocating daily time for reading, self-learning, attending training courses, and reviewing goals.

I also use social media for self-development to keep up with the latest developments in the field, including references and articles, in addition to motivational articles, and to draw inspiration from successful people. One of the best books on self-development is " Your Roadmap to Success" by John Maxwell , which I eagerly recommend reading.
